These colors remind me of the mystical celestial clouds/skies associated with images of angels. The colors suggest royalty and spiritual energy. Blue, gold, red violet and mauve come together in energetic harmony to create a beautiful field of color.
This pen is a bit larger in diameter, and length than the other pens listed for those that prefer a bit larger pen.
We view each handcrafted fountain pen as a functional work of art, our pens are turned individually on a wood lathe. Our hands touch each one, and we are involved in the process throughout, from cutting the blank to size, (we also cast many of our own blanks) boring out the blank, squaring, turning to shape and specifications, and finally sanding and polishing. Here at Barrel and Nib the process matters, having our hands touch each part has meaning, we believe in the value of “handcrafted” and feel this means each pen carries with it the attention and energy with which it was made
