All That Glitters - Mint
I cannot tell a lie, I can’t resist a bit of glitter. Just lately I was perusing the local Michael’s, and lo and behold this beautiful minty glitter caught me eye, and I knew it had to become a pen. In hand it is so beautiful with minty green and teal sparkles throughout. This pen features a high gloss finish that only adds to all the shiny goodness that IS glitter.
We view each handcrafted fountain pen as a functional work of art, our pens are turned individually on a wood lathe. Our hands touch each one, and we are involved in the process throughout, from cutting the blank to size, (we also cast many of our own blanks) boring out the blank, squaring, turning to shape and specifications, and finally sanding and polishing. Here at Barrel and Nib the process matters, having our hands touch each part has meaning, we believe in the value of “handcrafted” and feel this means each pen carries with it the attention and energy with which it was made
